It's been two years since the Long Players last rocked the town hall and they are returning with all guns - and roses - blazing. It just has to be large.

With over 40 members the Long Players is more of a musical love-in than a band as such. The Malmesbury collective assembles over one weekend to rehearse a classic album and the following weekend they perform it. Their gigs often involve theatre and the work of local artists, photographers and graphic designers - the audience are fully expected to dress up too.

This time around expect a double bill featuring The Stone Roses eponymous first album and Guns n' Roses' seminal debut Appetite for destruction.
