The clocks haven't gone back yet, but the nights are already drawing in faster than trick-or-treaters at dusk - and there's only one antidote to the gathering gloom: a proper, four-course helping of stand-up at Malmesbury’s treasured Gloryhole Comedy Club!

Holding the whole shebang together is compere Tim Clark - a bona fide "unsung hero of stand-up" according to The Guardian, who's hosted BBC1's Game Show Give Us A Clue, panelled on Radio 5 Live's Fighting Talk, and even ghost-written gags for Jonathan Ross and a former Prime Minister. (We're not naming names. Well, we just did. Moving on.)

Opening the show is the brilliantly brainy Iszi Lawrence - broadcaster, historian and Radio 4 stalwart (Making History, Your Place or Mine), TV history whizz (Ancient Apocalypse, The Lost Pirate Kingdom), and proof that funny and clued-up are not mutually exclusive.

In the middle, fresh blood alert! G Watson swapped 30 years of journalism (including a stint at Kerrang!) for the mic, mining mid-life, marriage-number-two and fatherhood for laughs - while Courtney Cornfield brings her exuberant, eccentric, improv-honed brilliance all the way from Kingston (the Seann Walsh-endorsed, "I also lol'd a lot" kind of brilliant).

Closing out the night, all the way from Australia, headliner Adam Vincent brings his deliciously dark, quirky, oddball take on the world - comedy that makes you laugh and wince in the same breath. Published author, seasoned headliner, not for the faint-hearted.
